Plainwell Memorials started in 1960 by Royce and Marian Cosgrove and was originally called Plainwell Vault and Monument company. Royce believed in building a business based on great customer experience as well as building relationships with customers and competition alike. In 1980, Royce went on to create a partnership with his son Jeff who still owns and operates the business today with his wife, Julie, and their two daughters, Lynn and Rebecca.

When you work with Plainwell Memorials, we help you create a stone that is uniquely you. Our team in the office will help you lay out your ideas in our design portal. We then work closely with our supplier design team to ensure your vision is perfect before confirming the design with you and yours. No design is completed without your approval to ensure we are meeting your needs.
We also believe in great communication - as soon as we know, you will too. We will keep you informed every step of the way and ensure you are satisfied with the process and final outcome.

We understand that buying a memorial for yourself or a loved one is never an easy thing to do, but often feels essential. We are here to support you and help you take all the time you need to feel confident in your memorial designing and creation process.
